We'd like to make clear that any podcaster that would like to include our content in their podcast is welcome! Just let us know when to listen! We're producing this podcast to help make the world a safer place to live in and the more people that get our message the better. We are trying to keep each episode around 3 minutes, so it will easily fit in many different types of podcast or on radio stations if that's a possibility.

Simply let us know and if you have a website, we'll link to it here on our show notes blog. Send all these messages to our official e-mail: policeonthescene@yahoo.com.

Hello, folks!

Producer Tim Kretschmann here. We have a big announcement. Please sit down.

Yes, all of you. We've taken the plunge and http://www.policeonthescene.com/ is now officially the podcast website. We're still part of TKPN, but we now have an official site.

We are hoping to develop content outside being a repository of links regarding the podcast. We're open to suggestions, but we are looking at have links to law enforcement agencies among other things on the home page.

But, wait, there is more.

Send Me A MessageWe'd like to give any of our law official types the opportunity to say hi to JD using the handy button over here to the right. If you have a microphone attached to your computer, follow the simple instructions and JD will have the sound file before you know it. This is also a great way to ask JD questions like "What does 10-8 mean?" "What is of higher rank--a captain or a detective?" or "What's the best burglar alarm for my home?"

Remember to check out our Frappr map as well. We'd love to know where you are listening from!

The internet’s only podcast regarding beauty pageants just made another stride toward their goal of making reliable beauty pageant news readily available: they have officially launched their website at http://www.pageantcast.com.

The website has links to important pageant webpages and includes many ways to listen to the PageantCast podcast.

The PageantCast has already interviewed such pageant celebrities as Miss USA, Miss Galaxy, Miss International and the Beauties of America. New programs generally come out weekly.

Podcasts are time-shifted radio programs distributed on the internet. They can be listened to online or downloaded. Using a program such as Apple’s iTunes, podcasts can be automatically subscribed to so new content is delivered directly to your computer. All TKPN podcasts are free of charge.

Okay, folks. Just kidding. If you look closely at this sign, you'll see it is a phony. Going to www.churchsigngenerator.com, you can get your own phony church sign.

Always look at things with an eye toward fraud, and you won't be lured in. If you see something that looks phony, send it along to us (policeonthescene@yahoo.com) and we'll see if we can find something out about it.
